Reflections? A picture that’s worth a thousand words. How beautiful is this? My great niece Emma Gillis, a dancer with Danspirations and an amazing photographer, Buffie Boily of Boily Photography in Summerside, PEI, Canada captured this amazing photo.
When I look at Emma’s reflection I think of beauty, purity, innocence, joy, grace. I think of precision in the dance movement. I think of talent and skill in the eye of the photographer. And I think of excitement as the photographer realized she had captured this perfect image through the lens of her camera. “Oh wow!” she must have been thinking.
We all have reflections. I believe they are rooted in our heart and they come through our smile, our eyes, our face, our body language. Some reflections come through our words; words that also reflect what is in our heart. Did you know that our reflections can be as beautiful as this photo? If we walk in the light of Jesus’s love, our face, our smile, our words, our body language and our heart can reflect the radiance of his love in a more perfect way. And that radiance will give glory to our Heavenly Father.
Is your reflection radiant or is it dark? Choose today what your reflection will be. Seek him. Seek to make your face radiant and free from shame, guilt, condemnation, confusion or any form of darkness.
