We do know these life lessons, don't we. But do we really know how to apply them?

It took me many years to learn how to apply these life lessons. It wasn’t until I found an amazing treasure at age forty-four. That treasure was learning the difference between religion and relationship with Jesus; something I never learned as a young girl. No-one had explained this to me along the way. Why? Perhaps they never learned it! But, he tells us he wants to be in relationship with us and here is the invitation:

“Look, I’m standing at the door and knocking. If anyone listens to my voice and opens the door, I’ll come in and we’ll eat together.” (Revelation 3:20 GW)

That’s friendship! That’s relationship! This relationship is what gives us the strength to overcome our trials, to believe that we are valuable and significant, and to live that extraordinary life with a meaningful purpose, with peace, joy, contentment and acceptance. This is my hope for you too!
